Komunikasi Politik Partai Kebangkatan Bangsa Dalam Pemenangan Afrizal Sintong dan Sulaiman Pada Pilkada Rokan Hilir 2020
The Afrizal Sintong-Sulaiman pair is one of the figures who has become a new phenomenon in the world of politics in Rokan Hilir. The victory achieved by the Afrizal-H Sulaiman (AMAN) pair cannot be separated from the support of one of the major parties, namely the National Awakening Party (PKB). Getting major support, one of which is from the National Awakening Party (PKB) to attract public support, especially Muslims.
The purpose of this study was to analyze political communication marketing and identify the communication model used by the National Awakening Party in winning the Afrizal Sintong-Sulaiman pair in the 2020 Rokan Hilir regional elections. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with the research location in Rokan Hilir Regency.
From the results of the study, it was found that in winning the Afrizal-Sulaiman pair in the 2020 Rokan Hilir regional elections, the National Awakening Party as one of the supporters and also the winning team for this pair used political marketing communication and political communication models. In political marketing, four mixes are used, namely 1) product, the figure of the Afrizal-Sulaiman pair. 2) price, namely there is an economic price costing IDR 6M and a psychological view, voters feel comfortable and interested in the Afrizal-Sulaiman pair. 3) place, the campaign was carried out in all locations of Rokan Hilir Regency, especially in Islamic boarding schools, tabligh akbar, and other religious events. 4) promotion, the Afrizal-Sulaiman pair and the winning team used promotions with mass media, social media and print media.
Political communication modelsused by the National Awakening Party in winning the Afrizal-Sulaiman pair in the 2020 regional elections, namely the Lasswell communication model consisting of: 1) who, the campaigners are the Afrizal-Sulaiman pair and their winning team (PKB), 2) say what, the message conveyed is in the form of the jargon "AMAN" which is an abbreviation of the pair's name and has the meaning of Trustworthy, Prosperous and Comfortable and the slogan "Close to the Community, Movement for Change for ROHIL to Rise, and Together to Build the Country". 3) in what channel, the channels used in the campaign are mass media, print media, and social media. 4) to whom, the target of the campaign is the Rokan Hilir community, especially members of Islamic boarding schools, clerics, and other Islamic religious figures. 5) what with effect, the impact of what was done was the victory obtained by the Afrizal-Sulaiman pair in the 2020 regional elections thanks to the support of the people who chose them.
