Konstruksi Berita Politik Gibran Rakabuming Raka Di Media Online (Studi Analisis Framing Berita Pasca Keputusan Mahkamah Konstitusi Di Media Online Kompas.Com Dan Tempo.Co)

News is formed as a result of the construction of reality. News is interpreted as a mirror of reality. The rise of Gibran Rakabuming Raka's political news after the Constitutional Court's decision regarding the change in the age limit requirements for presidential and vice presidential candidates is considered to pave the way for Gibran Rakabuming Raka to advance in the 2024 presidential election. The news went viral and became a headline on various online media portals. One of the most aggressive online media is Kompas.com and Tempo.co media. This study aims to analyze how Define Problems, Diagnose Cause, Make Moral Judgment, Treatment Recommendation in the construction of Gibran Rakabuming Raka's political news after the Constitutional Court's decision in kompas.com and tempo.co online media.
This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with a constructivism approach. Using Robert N Entman's Framing Analysis model. Data collection techniques are carried out by observation, literature study, and documentation. Robert's Framing Analysis has four elements that are used as analytical knives, namely define problems, diagnose causes, make moral judgment, treatment recommendation. There are 20 news stories that are used as data analysis units in this study.
The results of this study show that, first, Define Problems in kompas.com and tempo.co emphasizes Gibran's chances of becoming a vice presidential candidate and the controversy surrounding the practice of political dynasties. The second Diagnose Cause In kompas.com, namely the Constitutional Court's decision to become a red carpet for Gibran to advance in the 2024 presidential election contest, while in Tempo.co highlighted the Constitutional Court's decision used to legalize Gibran as a vice presidential candidate. Third, Make Moral Judgment on kompas.com regarding Gibran's candidacy is considered to be damaging to democracy because it shows nepotism and political dynasties. Meanwhile, tempo.co highlighted a lot about the blessing given by President Joko Widodo regarding Gibran's candidacy as vice president. Fourth, the Treatment Recommendation kompas.com recommends firm action, namely that Gibran is asked not to have ambitions to participate in the presidential election even though he passes the requirements thanks to the Constitutional Court's decision. Meanwhile, tempo.co framing that the Constitutional Court's decision was not only shown to Gibran Rakabuming Raka but to all young generations in Indonesia.
