Strategi Komunikasi Pimpinan Dalam Meningkatkan Disiplin Kerja Karyawan Pada Pt. Trifa Abadi Pekanbaru
Leadership communication in a company will have an impact on employee work discipline. Work discipline is an important thing that every employee must have. Work discipline can be used as an indicator to assess the work results of each employee. The good or bad performance of an agency can be seen from the work discipline of its. The objective of this research is about the communication strategy of PT Trifa Abadi to improve the discipline of, especially field members, because as a road construction company, many field members are divided into several areas.
This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. The subjects of this research were the company's HRD, general superintendent, labor head, and 2 field members who were determined based on purposive techniques. Data collection was carried out through in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique uses techniques according to Miles Huberman with 4 steps, namely data collection, data reduction, presenting data, and getting conclusions. Apart from that, the data validity checking technique uses triangulation.
The results of the research can be seen that the leadership's communication strategy is running well in accordance with existing rules. This rule becomes a reference for disciplining members/employees. Apart from that, the use of technology in the communication process, conveying information and media as the main communication tools in the field has become very effective. The tools were used in PT. TRifa Abadi is social media and electronic media. With email as electronic media it is easier to format the document. Each employee can properly understand the planned project results obtained from project meetings so that member errors in the field can be minimized. The leadership has good coordination for all parties concerned so that PT. Trifa Abadi has a high percentage of success in a project.
