Pengaruh Peduli Sosial Masyarakat Terhadap Kesepian Pada Lansia Di Desa Sibuak Kecamatan Tapung Kabupaten Kampar

This research aims to find out (1) To find out how much the community cares about the elderly in Sibuak Village, Tapung District, Kampar Regency, (2) To find out how much the community cares about the loneliness of the elderly in Sibuak Village, Tapung District, Kampar Regency, (3) To find out whether There is an influence of social concern among lonely people on the elderly in Sibuak Village, Tapung District, Kampar Regency.
This type of research is ex-post facto with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were elderly people in Sibuak Village, Tapung District, Kampar Regency. The sampling technique uses Simple Random Sampling. This sampling method is because the respondent population is considered homogeneous, namely elderly people. By using the Yamane formula, the sample is 105 elderly people.
The data collection methods for this research are 1) observation, 2) questionnaires, and 3) documentation. This research instrument consists of two questionnaires, namely: the social care questionnaire and the loneliness questionnaire. The writing instrument goes through several stages, namely: 1) reviewing all theories related to the variables to be studied, 2) compiling indicators for each variable, 3) compiling a grid, 4) compiling statement items and establishing a measurement scale, 5 ) trial of the instrument, 6) analysis of the question items by testing the validity and reliability of each statement item.
Based on the analysis of the demographic factors of the respondents, the social care variable obtained more than adequate results with a mean value of 2.54,
then for the demographics of the respondents, the loneliness variable obtained a mean value of 2.54 with a low interpretation. So it can be said that social care for the elderly in Sibuak Village, Tapung District, Kampar Regency is classified as moderate. Then, based on the descriptive statistical analysis of each variable, the social care variable obtained a mean value of 2.99 with a low interpretation and for the loneliness variable the mean value obtained was 2.96 with a low interpretation. It can be said that the community cares about the loneliness of the elderly in Sibuak Village, Tapung District. Kampar Regency is low.
The results of this research show that there is an influence of community social care on loneliness among the elderly in Sibuak Village, Tapung District, Kampat Regency, 57% with a moderate interpretation.
