ABSTRACT
In every electrical field, there are various disturbances that can occur, one of which is short circuit disturbance. Disturbances result in a decrease in the quality of electrical power and damage equipment. Therefore, it is necessary to handle it quickly in preventing continuous and non-expanding damage. This analysis was conducted to determine the effect of short circuit disturbance parameters in determining the distance of the short circuit disturbance location. This research method uses secondary data obtained from PT. PLN (Persero) in the ETAP simulation, then performs mathematical calculations to determine the disturbance parameters and finally compares the results of the calculation of the distance of the disturbance location obtained with the results of the distance of the disturbance location from one of the previous studies. Judging from the results of the calculation of the distance of the short circuit disturbance location, the greater the error obtained when the distance of the disturbance location is further away. This study has also been validated with previous studies, which have the same curve characteristics and this study can be said to be valid.
