Pengaruh Komunikasi Non Verbal Dalam Serial Netflix Gadis Kretek Terhadap Sikap Imitasi Merokok Mahasiswi Universitas Riau

Netflix is a subscription-based video stream service entertainment platform originating from the United States. The service offers a wide variety of movies, series, and television shows including original productions as well as those acquired from other parties. Gadis Kretek is one of the first Indonesian-language series released by Netflix in November 2023. The series tells the story of how a girl struggles in the home-based kretek cigarette industry to continue her family's business. This study aims to analyze the influence of non-verbal communication in the Netflix series Gadis Kretek on the smoking imitation attitude of Riau University students.
This research uses quantitative methods with an explanatory format, using the S-O-R theory. Data collection techniques in this study using questionnaires and documentation. The population in this study were female smokers at Riau University. Because there is no exact data, the author uses the unknown population formula and gets data as much as 96.4 then rounded up to 100 respondents. Sampling was done using non-probability sampling techniques. Data analysis techniques in this study using simple linear analysis and determination test using SPSS version 26 application tools.........
