Early marriages in Indragiri Hilir Regency continue to increase. The P2KBP3A Service, based on KemenPPA regulations, launched the Puspaga program to deal with this problem. Puspaga is a child rights-based family service that involves professionals/psychologists in providing solutions for parents, children and families to prevent early marriage. This program plays an important role in reducing early marriage in Indragiri Hilir, which is caused by lack of education, economic, cultural and psychological factors. This research aims to determine the Puspaga extension process and its success efforts in Indragiri Hilir Regency.
This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The informants in this study consisted of 7 informants who were selected using specified criteria called purposive. Data collection techniques in this research were through interviews, observation and documentation. With data analysis techniques using data reduction, presentation and drawing conclusions. The data inspection technique used is source triangulation.
The results of this research indicate that communication and outreach for the Puspaga program at the P2KBP3A Service of Indragiri Hilir Regency has been going well. Counseling participants' knowledge of early marriage and society in general is quite adequate, and efforts to persuade the community run smoothly with a continuous learning process about the Puspaga program. This program targets teenagers as its main target, with dissemination of material that focuses on the risks and challenges of early marriage. Counseling is carried out through direct meetings and persuasion approaches to the community and early marriage counseling participants. These results indicate that the implementation of the Puspaga program managed by the P2KBP3A Service is running quite effectively. This program has been successful in fulfilling its goal of providing support and solutions for families, including in dealing with problems such as early marriage. Despite the challenges faced, the results show that Puspaga has had a positive impact and significant contribution to family welfare in Indragiri downstream district
