Background and Purpose : Connectivity and integration between transportation triggers the development and economic growth of a region. However, the increase in private vehicles or public transportation is the cause of congestion on highways, especially urban areas such as in Pekanbaru City. The existence of green transportation has the same concept as sustainable transportation, namely the application of transportation by taking into account environmental impacts, especially gas emissions. In essence, the application of sustainable transportation in line with the Sustainable Green Transportation model is a concept that combines three dimensions, namely the ecological dimension, the economic dimension, and the social dimension in the transportation sector which aims to create environmentally friendly and sustainable transportation. The purpose of this study is first, to analyze the sustainability status of transportation in terms of ecological, social and economic dimensions. The second is to design a Model and Application of Sustainable Green Transportation in terms of ecological, social and economic dimensions. The last is to provide the direction of Sustainable Green Transportation policy in Pekanbaru City. Material and Methods: The research was conducted with an exploratory descriptive approach based on data that had been collected primary and secondary. Primary data is in the form of data from the results of field surveys and questionnaires, while secondary data is in the form of data from related agencies and previous studies. Data collection are carried out on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Sundays. Taking into account the effect of the level of side obstacles on traffic volume and speed on the day, the traffic data collection survey was conducted during the morning rush hours, namely at 06.00-09.00 WIB, afternoon at 11.00-14.00 WIB and afternoon at 16.00-18.00 WIB. Location This research was conducted on 5 sections of Pekanbaru City street, Riau, Indonesia, namely Jalan Riau, Jalan HR Subrantas, Jalan Arifin Ahmad, Jalan Tuanku Tambusai, and Jalan Sudirman. Then, it is analyzed by descriptive statistical analysis. Results and Discussions : Based on the results of the study, it is proven that the sustainability status of Pekanbaru City transportation in terms of ecological, economic, and social dimensions is less sustainable. The results of a field survey on the ecological dimension, explaining the still dense traffic on each road section of Pekanbaru City, aimed at the high level of vehicle volume and service level in





category F, namely total traffic jams. The existence of this congestion causes a high saturation degree value that is greater than 0.85, an increase in air pollution that is above the air pollution quality standard value, and an increase in noise value that is greater than 60 dB. Meanwhile, the results of descriptive statistical analysis on the economic dimension explain that the accessibility of the region is not good, the cost to get efficient transportation activities is at a moderate level that must spend Rp 15,000 - Rp 50,000 per day, and transportation will be productive when public transportation in Pekanbaru City is cheaper, faster, safer and more comfortable. The results of descriptive statistical analysis on the social dimension explain that transportation services are not equal / fair due to traffic jams and heavy traffic, current transportation safety is not good for public transportation, and the lack of involvement of institutional systems that support sustainable transportation, because transportation managed by local governments (trans metro) needs quality improvement. Therefore, the results of the next research are environmentally friendly transportation models in the form of sustainable green transportation models in Pekanbaru City. The model is designed using ArcGIS, VISSIM and SketchUp applications so that it can improve the sustainability status of transportation and realize sustainable development in Pekanbaru City. Of course, this is supported by the direction of local government policy which is the result of the latest research. Policy directions in the form of Regional Regulations such as the implementation of traffic control policies, including emission-free zones and dynamic parking rates. Education and awareness campaigns to change people's behavior towards transportation. Tree planting projects and green open space development at various points in the city. Implementing bans or restrictions on horn use in certain areas, especially in residential areas, can help reduce unnecessary noise. Build separate bike lanes to improve bicycle mobility and reduce motor vehicle use. Conclusion : The first conclusion related to the analysis of the sustainability status of transportation in Pekanbaru City with a focus on ecological, economic, and social dimensions provides a clear picture of the challenges faced by the city in managing its transportation system. Some critical findings include high saturation levels, air pollution and noise levels that exceed standards, and the lack of balance between private and public transportation modes so that the sustainability status of transportation in Pekanbaru City is less sustainable. Secondly, related to the model and application of Sustainable Green Transportation that is Environmentally Friendly in terms of ecological dimensions, economic dimensions and social dimensions in Pekanbaru City is designed using three applications, namely ArcGIS, VISSIM and SketchUp. Finally, to achieve Sustainable Green Transportation, the local government of Pekanbaru City must make a policy direction in the form of Regional Regulations.
