Uji Aktivitas Pelarut Fosfat, Selulolitik Dan Produksi Hormon Iaa Dari Trichoderma Spp. Asal Tanah Gambut Riau Sebagai Agen Biofertilizer
Trichoderma sp. is a microorganism commonly utilized as soil biofertilizer, has antagonistic properties as a biocontrol agent against pathogenic fungi that it can be as a biofertilizer agent, plant growth stimulator and a decomposer organism, thereby reducing the use of chemical fertilizers. Excessive use of chemical fertilizers can cause environment and ecosystems damage. This study aims to evaluate the ability the dissolving phosphates, testing cellulolytic activity and producing IAA hormone of local isolates Trichoderma spp. The phosphate solubilizing fungus test was conducted on Reyes Basal medium which forms a zone of color change, the cellulolytic activity test was conducted using the 0.1% iodine staining method on CMC medium which forms a halo zone, and the fungal isolates were cultured on PDB medium enriched with tryptophan as a precursor for forming IAA. IAA produced by fungi was detected by adding Salkowski's reagent and determined quantitatively using the colorimetric method. In this study the phosphate solubility index of Trichoderma spp. ranged from 1.53–2.63. The cellulolytic index ranged from 1.21–2.45, and the production of IAA hormones ranged from 0.104 mg/l–3.591 mg/l. As many as five isolates of Trichoderma spp. have the potential to be biofertilizer agents because they can dissolve macronutrients such as phosphate, cellulose, and produce the hormone IAA.
Key findings :The biofertilizer,Trichoderma spp.,phosphate solubilizer,cellulolytic, IAA.
