This research aims to develop an E-book of illustrated stories based on the folk tale of the tak tak bau bau bird with the theme of a harmonious ecosystem with science content for class V elementary schools. This research aims to test the feasibility and practicality of a picture story e-book based on the folk tale of the tak tak bau bau with the theme of a harmonious ecosystem used by class V students at SDN 005 Langgini in August. This type of research is R&D (Research and Development) development research using the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development Implementation, Evaluation) model. The validation results from experts obtained an overall average of 90.31% with a very feasible category. The average overall student response questionnaire research score was 92.083% in the very practical category. The average overall teacher response questionnaire research score was 95.83% in the very practical category. Based on these data, the illustrated story e-book based on the folk tale of the tak tak bau bau bird with the theme of a harmonious ecosystem is very suitable and practical for use in grade 5 elementary school science learning.
