Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Matematika Realistik Materi Geometri Untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Penalaran Matematis Siswa Kelas IV SDN 158 Pekanbaru
This research aims to improve and enchance the learning process and increase students' mathematical reasoning abilities through the implemnetation of realistic mathematics learning models. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subject of this study is a student of grade IVB SDN 158 Pekanbaru. This research was carried out in the even semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. The research instruments consist of learning tools (Teaching Modules and LKPD) and data collection instruments (observation sheets and mathematical reasoning ability tests). Observation sheets are used to obtain teacher and student activities during the learning process which are then analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The mathematical reasoning ability test device is used to collect data on students' mathematical reasoning ability which is then analyzed quantitatively. Based on the results of the analysis of the observation sheet, it was obtained that the implementation of the learning process in cycle II was better than cycle I. The results of the mathematical reasoning ability test showed that the value of the overall mathematical reasoning ability of students in the initial test was 50.16, increased in cycle I to 70.78 and in cycle II to 83.68. Based on the results of the research, it was concluded that the application of a realistic mathematics learning model can improve the learning process and improve the mathematical reasoning ability of students in grade IVB SDN 158 Pekanbaru on geometry material.
