Relevansi Pemikiran Ki Hadjar Dewantara Dengan Penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka Di Sekolah Dasar
This research is motivated by changes in the curriculum that are influenced by the advancement of science and technology in the community. This independent curriculum is a curriculum of restructuring in the education system in Indonesia which is designed to welcome changes and progress adapted to the changing times. Teachers who act as facilitators to accompany their students in the learning process, give more freedom to students to develop their potential. According to Ki Hadjar Dewantara, to become a teacher, one must apply the concept of an educational trilogy, namely Ing Ngarso Sung Tulodo, Ing Madyo Mangun Karso, and Tut Wuri Handayani.
This study uses a descriptive qualitative method. The research was conducted at SDN 171 Pekanbaru, located on Jl. Sepakat Perum MKP No. 13. Kulim, Tenayan Raya District, Pekanbaru City. The data sources used are primary and secondary data. The primary data in this study is 11 teachers who teach at SDN 171 Pekanbaru. The secondary data used are interview results and several kinds of literature about Ki Hadjar Dewantara's thoughts.
The results of the discussion show that the educational trilogy initiated by Ki Hadjar Dewantara must be owned by every teacher and education staff in schools to produce students who are ethical, creative, innovative, and able to adapt to the times. Thus, the concept of the educational trilogy will still be relevant to education in Indonesia even though the curriculum has changed many times.
