Peningkatan Hasil Belajar Siswa Dengan Menerapkan Bahan Ajar Berbasis Kearifan Lokal Pada Materi Pembelajaran IPAS di Sekolah Dasar
One important factor that supports effectiveness in learning is the existence of teaching materials. Teaching materials are very influential during teaching and learning activities in schools in order to achieve educational goals. Data from the evaluation results of science and technology learning at SDN 005 Medan City Village, Inhu Regency show that the learning outcomes for science and science learning are still relatively low due to the lack of teaching materials used during the learning process, making students feel bored and lazy to learn. Based on this background, the research title was taken, namely "Improving Student Learning Outcomes by Applying Teaching Materials Based on Local Wisdom to Science Learning Materials in Elementary Schools" with the aim of improving students' Science Learning Outcomes by using the type of Classroom Action Research (PTK). The results of teacher activities achieved a percentage of 88% and the success indicator was 75%. In the results of student activities, a percentage of 80% was achieved and the success indicator was 75%. Student learning outcomes reached 88% with an average score of 80.77 and the success indicator was ≥85%. From the results obtained, this local wisdom-based teaching material can improve student learning outcomes.
