Pengembangan E-Modul Penulisan Teks Negosiasi Berbantuan Flipbook Untuk Siswa Kelas XI SMA
Teaching writing negotiation texts is an essential skill that students, especially in Senior High School (SMA), must master. However, many students face difficulties in understanding and composing effective negotiation texts. Therefore, the development of a contextual-based flipbook media e-module is expected to enhance students' interest and learning outcomes. This research aims to develop an e-module for writing negotiation texts through contextual-based flipbook media and to evaluate its effectiveness on students' learning interest and outcomes in class XI SMA.
Researchers chose flipbook learning media because flipbook learning media has the advantage that it is very effective and can be used anywhere and at any time, does not require special skills to use flipbooks and because flipbooks are in the form of websites so they do not affect the memory capacity of students' smartphones. Then, this flipbook is online because in the flipbook there is a learning evaluation that can be accessed by students, thus creating an interesting learning atmosphere for students which is arranged contextually, intended to bring the real world into the classroom and encourage students to make connections between the knowledge they have and its application. into their real life.
The research method used is Research and Development (RnD). The sample in this study consists of 72 students divided into two classes: an experimental class using the e-module and a control class employing conventional teaching methods. The analysis technique applied in this research refers to the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). This approach ensures that each phase of module development is carried out systematically and planned.
The results of the hypothesis test indicate that the e-module for writing negotiation texts aided by flipbook media significantly enhances students' interest and learning outcomes. The average learning outcomes of students in the experimental class show a much higher score compared to the control class. The discussion reveals that the developed e-module is not only effective in improving students' writing skills but also successfully enhances their learning interest. Feedback from expert validation and the results of practicality testing support the continued use of the e-module as an innovative learning tool.
The conclusion of this research is that the development of an e-module for writing negotiation texts assisted by flipbook media has a significant positive impact on students' interest and learning outcomes. The implications of this study
emphasize the need for innovative teaching methods in educational contexts, as well as the importance of adopting technology to support the teaching and learning process, thereby encouraging students to be more active and creative in their learning.
