Pengembangan Modul Ajar Menulis Cerita Pendek Berbasis Kearifan Lokal Riau Batimang Siswa Kelas XI SMA

This research aims to produce a teaching module for writing short stories based on the local wisdom of Riau Batimang for class XI high school students. This is an innovation in learning Indonesian by integrating local Riau wisdom in the form of Batimang oral literature. The method used is the Research and Development (R&D) method, with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Kampar Kiri Hulu and the research subjects were in class XI, namely 79 students. Data collection techniques use interviews, student needs questionnaires, validation of teaching module products by language and material expert validators and media experts, trials, teacher and student assessments.
The resulting research shows that the quality of the teaching module that has been developed can be observed from the validation given by experts with a score of 4.65 (93.27%) which is included in the very adequate or very good category. The practicality of the product produced can be seen from the results of the teacher and student assessment questionnaire. The percentage of teacher assessment results is 4.80 (945) and is classified as very good. The effectiveness of the product is assessed from the student's ability to carry out the pretest and posttest based on the use of the teaching module product which results in an increase in scores, namely a total score of 4635 with an average result of 58.67, while the number after the test is 6070 with an average result of 76.83.
