Pola Komunikasi Paguyuban Mitra Sunda Riau (Misuri) Dalammelestarikan Kebudayaan Sunda Di Kota Pekanbaru

Since its establishment in 2006, Association Mitra Sunda Riau (Misuri) is a cultural organization of the Sundanese people who strive to preserve Sundanese culture by involving everyone who cares about Sundanese culture. The implementation of these preservation activities because it requires many people to be involved, it is not uncommon to encounter various problems regarding communication, namely ineffective communication flows resulting in a lack of responsiveness from members and misunderstandings of perception. Therefore, in coordinating Sundanese cultural preservation activities in order to produce a good communication process, an appropriate communication pattern is needed so that Misuri's goals can be achieved.
This study conducted a qualitative descriptive study. The study was conducted at the Office of the Regional Leadership Council (DPD) of Mitra Sunda Riau (Misuri) in Pekanbaru City from July to November. This study involved five informants with the snowball sampling technique, who collected data through interviews, observations, and documentation. The method used to analyze the data in this study was the Miles and Huberman model. For the method of checking the validity of additional data, expansion of involvement and triangulation were used.
The results of the study indicate that the Communication Process The communication process in the Misuri organization in preserving Sundanese culture in Pekanbaru City involves complex and interconnected dynamics. The communication carried out is repeated communication both verbally and nonverbally, the state of interdependence between members, relationships within the organization and the internal and external communication environment of the organization. The Communication Pattern used in preserving Sundanese culture in Pekanbaru City by the Mitra Sunda Riau (Misuri) association uses the Wheel Pattern, Chain Pattern and Star Pattern (Overall). The wheel pattern is used when conveying orders and controlling each member of the organization directly or via WhatsApp media, information conveyed regarding obstacles and requesting solutions when there is something urgent. The Chain Communication Pattern, namely Misuri members who want to interact with the chairman must go through the head of each field because the dissemination of information in the chain pattern is formal and gradual in the form of proposals and is conveyed through internal meetings. The Star pattern is used during overall meetings from members, heads of fields and the chairman of the Misuri association where everyone can communicate with each other without hindrance. Supporting factors for communication that affect the smooth running of the program include good personal relationships, situations and conditions, communication media, facilities. And the inhibiting factors are semantic barriers, technical barriers, human barriers.
