The task of the Parking UPT is to assist the head of the department in carrying out affairs in the transportation sector, parking management sub-affairs and the Parking UPT has several functions, one of the functions of the Parking UPT is to manage the system and procedures for parking arrangements in various areas in the Pekanbaru City area. Based on the description above, the aim of this research is to describe the public's perception of the implementation of the duties and functions of the Parking UPT in Pekanbaru, Riau. This research was conducted using a quantitative descriptive approach, where the data collection tool used a questionnaire. The sample in this research was the people of Pekanbaru City who used the parking lot as many as 60 people as determined by census techniques. The measuring tool used is a questionnaire on public perceptions regarding the implementation of the duties and functions of the Parking UPT in Pekanbaru, Riau with 15 items. The analysis used in this research is data portrait analysis. Based on the results of data analysis using descriptive analysis, it was found that the level of public perception regarding the implementation of the duties and functions of the Parking UPT in Pekanbaru, Riau was in the medium category 43,4%. People who have a perception of the implementation of the duties and functions of the Parking UPT in Pekanbaru, Riau are on average 20-25 years old, with more female respondents than male teenagers.
