Pemberitaan Politik Dinasti Presiden Jokowi Pada Pemilihan Presiden 2024 Di Media Online Tempo.Co Dan Tvonenews.Com (Analisis Framing Robert Mathew Entman)

This research is based on the issue of dynasty politics which is currently being hotly discussed in online media news, namely during the political leadership of President Joko Widodo. One of the central figures in the issue of dynasty politics in Indonesia is Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Joko Widodo's eldest son, who was elected Mayor of Solo in 2020. Gibran's success in winning the Solo regional head election (Pilkada) sparked speculation and debate about the possibility of efforts to build Jokowi's "dynastic politics" and even being prepared to become Vice President in the 2024 Presidential Election. The political economy of media has long been the focus of studies in various disciplines, especially communication science and political science. The media has a strategic role that can influence perceptions and shape public opinion on political issues.
This research method uses a qualitative method with data collection through observation, documentation, and literature studies with data analysis techniques using Robert Mathew Entman's framing model and Vincent Mosco's Commodification. This study aims to analyze the two online media tempo.co and tvonenews.com framing news before presenting it to the public and to find the political economy of media (commodification) in reporting on Jokowi's political dynasty in the 2024 Presidential Election.
The results of the research analysis found that the framing and commodification of online media tempo.co and tvonenews.com differ significantly in packaging and reporting news on Jokowi's political dynasty in the 2024 Presidential Election. Tempo.co's framing highlights the social and ethical impacts of dynastic politics, with an emphasis on criticism of nepotism and the negative impacts that may arise for society in a democracy. On the other hand, tvonenews.com's framing focuses on practical political aspects, including Gibran's candidacy steps and giving the impression that the issue of political dynasty is common and does not need to be a problem. Tempo.co's commodification emphasizes the quality of content and in-depth and critical analysis. While tvonenews.com's commodification focuses on fast and sensational news to attract attention instantly.
