Pengaruh Abu Sekam Padi Terhadap Pertumbuhan Tanaman Kangkung Darat (Ipomoea reptans) Pada Tanah Podsolik Merah Kuning (PMK) Sebagai Rancangan Poster Pada Materi Pertumbuhan Dan Perkembangan Kelas XII SMA
Husk ash is an organic material that can add macro and micro nutrients needed for plant metabolic processes. The nutrient content of rice husk ash is N, P, K, Ca, Mg, Fe and Si. The importance of rice husk ash for agriculture is because it is very good at loosening the soil, making it easier for plant roots to absorb the nutrients of land kale plants. The low production of water spinach vegetables is caused by less than optimal soil conditions because in Riau red and yellow podzolic soils are dominated by marginal soils that are poor in nutrients. In line with the increasing demand and need for water spinach vegetables, efforts need to be made to increase production by applying rice husk ash to the soil. red and yellow podzolic to increase plant growth and development, the aim of this research was to determine the effect of husk ash dosage on plant growth and produce a poster design for Biology learning in class XII high school in Phase F.
This research was conducted in March-October 2024 at the Biology Education Natural Laboratories, Binawidya campus, Panam. This research used an experimental method with a completely randomized design consisting of 5 treatments, namely using a dose of rice husk ash. Each treatment was repeated 3 times with a range of 25-100 grams. The poster development design refers to the

analysis, design and development stages. The parameters observed were the number of leaves, plant height, root length, wet weight and dry weight and the potential for research results as a Class XII SMA Biology poster on growth and development. Research data analysis used analysis of variance (ANOVA), further tested with the DMRT test (Duncan Multiple Range Test) at the 5% level.
The results showed that applying rice husk ash at a dose of 100 grams to red and yellow podzolic soil significantly increased the growth of land kale plants. This increase was seen in the parameters of number of leaves, plant height, root length, wet weight and dry weight, making this dose the best. The administration of various doses of rice husk ash to the growth of land kale (Ipomoea reptans) can be used as a poster design for material on factors that influence growth and development, categorized as very valid with a value of 3.62 as measured from the aspects of appropriateness of content, language, appearance and graphics.
The conclusion shows that the application of rice husk ash to red and yellow podzolic soil (PMK) has a significant effect on the growth of land kale (Ipomoea reptans) at the 5% level. Treatment dose of 100 grams (P4) gave the best results in each parameter. The poster learning media that has been developed can be used as an alternative learning media in the biology learning process at school.
