This research was motivated by the discovery of the application of learning processes that were still conventional in nature, such as the lecture learning model and relied more on using printed books. Apart from that, none of the teachers use adequate learning media when teaching in class, which makes students less interested in learning, resulting in low test scores or report cards, especially in Pancasila Education subjects. Therefore, researchers are interested in research in order to find out the effect of Augmented Reality (AR)-based learning media on learning outcomes.
The problem formulation in this research is whether there is an influence of augmented reality (AR)-based learning media on the Pancasila Education learning outcomes of class XI students at SMA Negeri 1 Enok. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of Augmented Reality (AR)-based learning media on student learning outcomes. The benefit of this research is that it can be used as a reference for other teachers in carrying out learning activities at school and adds insight and new knowledge that can be used as a study by solving the same problems.
This research is a quantitative type of experimental research using a Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The data collection method in this research is using pretest-posttest, observation sheets, questionnaires and documentation. The population in this research is class class XI.2 as the experimental class and XI.3 as the control class.
Based on the experimental results, there is an influence of augmented reality (AR)-based learning media on the Pancasila Education learning outcomes of class XI students at SMA Negeri 1 Enok. Based on the results obtained, the hypothesis in this study is accepted with tcount ≥ ttable. Because in this study tcount = 2.821 at a significance level of 5%, ttable = 1.673, Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. So it can be concluded that augmented reality (AR) based learning media influences the learning outcomes of class XI students at SMA Negeri 1 Enok by obtaining an average of 83.10 in the experimental class and an average of 54.21 in the control class.
