Pengembangan Bahan Ajar Berbasis Masalah Kontekstual Materi Sistem Persamaan Linier Tiga Variabel untuk Meningkatkan Kecakapan Pemecahan Masalah Matematis Peserta Didik Fase E SMK
This study was based on the low mathematical problem-solving skills of students. The study aims to produce teaching material that were based on contextual problems on the material of the system of linear equations of three variables to improve the mathematical problem-solving skills of phase E SMK students who meet the criteria of valid, practical, and effective.
This research was a development research which used the 4D development model. The define stage is completed through curriculum analysis, analysis of learner characteristics, material analysis, and formulation of learning objectives. It is begun by analyzing the type of curriculum used and mathematics learning outcomes contained in phase E and also the inadequate teaching materials that facilitate and improve students' problem-solving skills. The mathematical problem-solving skills (KPMM) of vocational-level students are low.
The design stage is completed by compiling criteria consisting of teaching material validation sheets, student response questionnaires, and KPMM test sheets. The teaching material validation sheet is aimed to assess the validity of teaching materials. The learner response questionnaire compilation is used for assessing the practicality of teaching materials, and the mathematical problem-solving skills questions compilation is used for assessing the effectiveness of teaching materials.
The development stage is the stage of developing teaching materials, its development is based on initial design, product validation, product revision, and product trials. Teaching materials are said to meet valid criteria with a minimum score in the interval of 70.01% - 85%. Teaching materials are qualified with a minimum score in the interval of 70.01% - 85.00%. Teaching materials are also qualified to be effective with a sig value results. (1-talled)
