Gastropods are the largest class in the mollusca phylum with the following characteristics having a shell, mantle, radula, visceral organs, legs, and a gill or several gills. Gastropods are part of biodiversity that must be preserved from extinction. must be preserved from extinction and species diversity. Gastropods in mangrove forests act as decomposers, where gastropods play an important role in the process of litter decomposition and mineralization of organic matter, especially herbaceous ones. mineralization of organic matter, especially those that are herbivorous and detritivorous.The purpose of this study was to identify gastropods in the mangrove area of mangrove area of Teluk Dalam Village, Kuala Kampar District, Pelalawan Regency.
This research was conducted from March to May 2023. The method used in this study is the survey method, namely observation, measurement, and sampling were carried out directly in the field then the samples were analyzed in the PMI Laboratory. field then the samples were analyzed in the PMIPA Laboratory, Biology Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Pelalawan. Biology Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Riau University. Determination of the research station was carried out with the Purposive Random Sampling method, namely selecting locations with consideration on the ecology of mangroves in the village of Teluk Dalam village. The parameters used are physical, chemical and biological parameters. chemical physics parameters and biological parameters. Chemical physics parameters that will be measured in this study are temperature (oC), and salinity, pH and substrate. Biological parameters in this study are species composition (Pi). The results of the research are then integrated into the design of the pocket book on invertebrate material invertebrate material.
Gastropod species found in the mangrove area of Teluk Village In that Nerita lineata (111 individuals), Littoraria undolata (103 individuals), Cerithideopsilla alata (85 individuals), Littoria scabra (83 individuals), Cassidula auresfalis (80 Individuals), Chicoreus capucinus, (70 Individuals), Ceritihidae obtusa (74 individuals), Ellobium aursijidae (65 individuals), Pugilina cochildium (60 individuals), Nerita violaceae (60 individuals), Nerita violacea (50 individuals), Bittium reticulatum (50 individuals), Ellobium aurismidae (40 individuals), Auriculastra incrassate (35 individuals), Telescopium telescopium (33 individuals). Based on the calculation of the species composition gastropods found 939 individuals from 7 families namely Neritidae, Muricidae, Potamidididae, Littorinidae, Cerrithidae, Ellobidae, and Melongenidae. The most species found were at station I as many as 419 while station II was 371 and the least is found at station III which is 149.
The results of measurements of aquatic environmental parameters in mangrove areas the village of deep bay obtained salinity values ranging from 23-26 o%, temperature range of 28-30 oC, and pH ranging between 7-7.4. Average value total organic matter content is in the range of 6.81 - 9.71%. The type of substrate that The type of substrate in the mangrove area of the inner bay village is mud and sandy mud.
The results of the research on the identification of gastropod species in the mangrove area in the village of deep bay are used as a pocket book design on invertebrate material class X SMA semester 2, the results of the study were then designed into a pocket book.

Based on the results of research and discussion, it can be concluded as follows: Identification of Gastropod Species in the mangrove area of the bay village in found as many as 939 individuals of 14 species from 7 families namely Neritidae, Muricidae, Potamidididae, littorinidae, Cerrithidae, Ellobidae, The highest to the lowest number of gastropod species were Nerita lineata (111 individuals), littoraria undolata (103 individuals), cerithideopsilla alata (85 individuals), Littoria scabra (83 individuals), Cassidula auresfalis (80 individuals), Chicoreus capucinus, (70 individuals), Ceritihidae obtusa (74 individuals), Bittium reticulatum (50 individuals), Pugilina cochildium (60 individuals), Ellobium aursijidae (65 individuals), Telescopium telescopium (33 individuals). Research results the identification of gastropod species in the mangrove area of Teluk Dalam village can be used as a pocket book design on high school class X invertebrate material.
