Pengembangan Media Diorama Berbasis Audiovisual Untuk Meningkatkan Minat Belajar Siswa Kelas X Pada Materi Masuknya Kerajaan Hindu Budha Ke Nusantara Di SMA Negeri 5 Pekanbaru
This study aims to describe the development of Audiovisual-based diorama media to increase the learning interest of class x students on the material of the entry of Hindu Buddhist kingdoms into the archipelago at SMA Negeri 5 Pekanbaru. This research was conducted at SMAN 5 Pekanbaru in class X. In this study, researchers used the Research and Development (R&D) type of research method. The data collection techniques used observation, documentation, tests, and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques were carried out with qualitative data analysis and quantitative data analysis. The test results show that audiovisual-based diorama media is effective in improving student learning outcomes. Implementation was conducted through small group (15 students) and large group (30 students) tests and involved history subject teachers as evaluators. In the aspect of ease of access, 88.33% of small group students and 99.66% of large group students stated that audiovisual-based diorama media is easy to use. Based on the results of the pretest and posttest, of the 30 students tested, 46.67% of students experienced an increase in learning outcomes in the effective category, 46.67% of students experienced an increase in the moderately effective category, and 6.66% of students did not experience an increase. The overall N-Gain average value reached 0.78, which is greater than the minimum limit of 0.76, thus indicating that the audiovisual-based diorama media is effective in improving student understanding.
