This research aims to analyze the character values contained in the plain flour tradition at Rokan Hulu Malay weddings which can be used as teaching material for students at SDN 003 Kepunahan. The type of research used is qualitative research with ethnographic methods. The variables studied were the process of the plain flour tradition and the character values found in Rokan Hulu Malay weddings.
The results of the research show that the traditional process of plain flour at the Rokan Hulu Malay wedding was led by traditional leaders, and carried out a series of activities such as sprinkling plain flour water on the bride, touching plain flour leaves to the bride's head to toes, sprinkling yellow rice on the bride's head, and ending by reciting prayers. Apart from that, the values contained in the tradition of plain flour at Rokan Hulu Malay weddings include religious values, unity values, mutual cooperation, friendship and social values.
