Evaluasi Setting Over Current Relay Pada Feeder Kiln Iiib Di Gardu Induk Indarung V
Continuity of electrical energy in an electrical system must be protected by a protection system with the right settings. Over current relay is one of the protection systems that is always used. Based on the provisions of PT. Semen Padang, the existing relay settings are always evaluated every 3 years to test the effectiveness of the settings that have been installed for a long time. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the over current relay settings installed in the Kiln IIIB feeder on the 6.3 kV network of GI Indarung V. This study uses data obtained from GI Indarung V which is then evaluated over current relay with 3 types of short circuit faults at each point that has been determined using ETAP 19.0.1 software. From the evaluation that has been done, the work of the definite time relay on the Kiln IIIB feeder is in accordance with the protection system standards. In addition, it is necessary to reset the pickup definite time value on the INC 1 relay and the F03 relay.For the results of the relay sensitivity test, it was found that all relays on the Kiln IIIB feeder were still sensitive to disturbances given at the end of the load feeder with a value above 1.
