The implementation of the Forest Protection Policy in the Conservation Forest of Tesso Nilo National Park has several phenomena, such as extensive encroachment and large-scale forest fires. This policy aims to prevent and limit forest damage both within and outside the Tesso Nilo National Park forest area. The purpose of this research is to analyze and describe the implementation of forest protection policies in the conservation forests of Tesso Nilo National Park. Additionally, it aims to identify the inhibiting factors in the implementation of forest protection policies in the conservation forests of Tesso Nilo National Park using Edward III's policy implementation theory. This research uses a qualitative type of study that is descriptive in nature, collecting data through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the Forest Protection Policy in the Conservation Forest of Tesso Nilo National Park has not been carried out effectively due to several shortcomings in various factors. The inhibiting factors are inadequate budget, insufficient infrastructure, and lack of communication.
