Implementasi Kebijakan Konvergensi Percepatan Pencegahan Dan Penurunan Stunting Di Kota Pekanbaru

The reduction of stunting requires the implementation of integrated interventions, including convergent specific and sensitive nutrition interventions, so that it requires the commitment of the regional head and other related OPDs to realise it which will encourage the achievement of the Pekanbaru City stunting reduction target in 2024 to fall to 6.34%. This research aims to analyse the implementation of the convergence policy to accelerate the prevention and reduction of stunting in Pekanbaru City and its inhibiting factors. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that the implementation of the convergence policy to accelerate the prevention and reduction of stunting in Pekanbaru City was optimal from the level of apparatus compliance and performance, but from the smoothness and absence of problems was not optimal. Factors that hinder the implementation of this policy are the behaviour of people who do not want to bring their children to the posyandu and the TPPS at the sub- district and kelurahan levels are not optimal. As a suggestion, it is expected that related regional apparatus organisations conduct active outreach to families who have not brought their children to the posyandu and improve communication and coordination of sub-district and village TPPS.
