Rancang Bangun Inverter 3-Fasa Untuk Penggerak Motor Pompa Air 3-Fasa
A three-phase induction motor is a type of AC (Alternating Current) motor that is input by alternating current. When driving a water pump using solar power, a 3-phase cage rotor induction motor must be driven by a 3-phase alternating electric voltage. For this purpose, a power converter is needed which will convert the direct electricity produced by the solar panels into 3-phase alternating electricity to drive the cage rotor 3-phase induction motor. An inverter is a DC to AC converter, namely a power electronics system that converts direct electrical power into alternating electrical power. This inverter uses six IGBTs as electronic switches which are triggered by IC IR2111 and controlled by an Arduino nano microcontroller programmed with a frequency of 50 Hz. In this final project module, it can finally be used to input a water pump for a three-phase cage rotor induction motor with a frequency of 50 Hz and an rms voltage of 100 Volts. The switching technique used to ignite the IGBT on the inverter is the 6 Step Cycle Technique.
