Uji Aktivitas Antibakteri Terhadap Bakteri Uji Dan Uji Antihiperglikemia Secara In Vivo Terhadap Mencit (Mus Muculus) Dari Isolat D.Sb 1.1 Bakteri Endofit Paku Laut (Acrostischum Aureum L.)
The continuous use of medicinal plants as a source of bioactive compounds can pose a threat of scarcity of medicinal plants. Another way to obtain bioactive compounds is to use endophytic bacteria. The use of endophytic bacteria is more efficient because the growth time is faster than medicinal plants. The endophytic bacterial isolate D.SB 1.1 isolated from sea fern (Acrostichum aureum L.) contains alkaloid and saponin phytochemical compounds. This study tested the antibacterial activity of isolate D.SB 1.1 against the test bacteria Listeria monocytogenes ATCC 7644 and Serratia A.B2.1 and tested the antihyperglycemic activity of D.SB 1.1 secondary metabolites in-vivo against hyperglycemic male mice. Based on antibacterial tests, D.SB 1.1 was able to inhibit the growth of test bacteria with a clear zone diameter of 11.81mm ± 0.46 against Listeria monocytogenes ATCC 7644 and a turbid zone of 17.6mm± 0.46 against Serratia A.B2.1. The antihyperglycemic activity test based on the LSD test showed a significant difference in blood sugar (p
