Implementasi Augmented Reality Berbasis Android Sebagai Media Pembelajaran Pengenalan Tata Surya
The rapid development of technology today provides convenience for humans in various fields, namely information, communication, business, and especially in the field of education. One technology that supports the education sector is Augmented Reality (AR). Science learning, one of which is the solar system, is learning that is difficult for some people to understand, because the learning media still uses conventional methods such as printed books, videos and 2D images. To overcome this, an Android-based Augmented Reality application was developed as a learning medium for introducing the solar system using R&D research methods with the MDLC development model, as well as C# programming in Unity3D. The AR application can display quizzes and 11 solar system objects in 3D, as well as the materials for each of these objects. Users can speed up, slow down the rotation of each object. Testing uses 6 aspects of ISO 25010, functionality value reaches 100%, reliability gets an A rating, can be accessed on various devices in the portability test, maintainability gets an A rating, efficiency with a startup of 10 milliseconds, application user experience with a benchmark score of "excellent" in terms of attractiveness (2.23), clarity (2.26), efficiency (2.09), consistency (2.04), stimulation (1.94) and novelty (1.70). The AR application can detect 11 solar system markers well. The expert test results showed a score of 95% from media experts and 98% from material experts. In conclusion, this solar system AR application is considered "very satisfying" in improving the learning process with a real-time 3D animation model of the solar system. Apart from that, it can help and make it easier for teachers and students to learn the solar system.
