The Riau Natural Resources Conservation Center (BBKSDA) as a government agency that carries out its role to protect conservation forest areas. One of the conservation forests that is preserved and protected is the Buluh Cina Nature Tourism Park by conducting environmental communication through an ecotourism development program to educate the public about the importance of maintaining forest areas, ecosystem balance and minimizing environmental damage caused by the community. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze the environmental communication planning of the Riau Natural Resources Conservation Center (BBKSDA) in developing ecotourism in the Buluh Cina Nature Tourism Park, Kampar Regency, to analyze the implementation of environmental communication of the Riau Natural Resources Conservation Center (BBKSDA) in developing ecotourism in the Buluh Cina Nature Tourism Park, Kampar Regency and to analyze the evaluation of environmental communication of the Riau Natural Resources Conservation Center (BBKSDA) in developing ecotourism in the Buluh Cina Nature Tourism Park, Kampar Regency.
This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The informants in this study consisted of 6 people according to the criteria selected using the purposive technique. Data collection techniques in this study were through interviews, observation and documentation. With data analysis techniques using data collection, data reduction, presentation and drawing conclusions. The data examination technique used is triangulation.
The results of this study indicate that environmental communication carried out by the Riau Natural Resources Conservation Center (BBKSDA) in implementing environmental damage prevention carried out by the Riau Natural Resources Conservation Center (BBKSDA) government requires communication planning. The planning carried out consists of analyzing problems, analyzing audiences, formulating objectives, developing messages, and planning media production. The implementation of environmental communication activities from the Riau Natural Resources Conservation Center (BBKSDA) is an action of socialization, monitoring areas and using media to the community in Kampar Regency, especially in Buluh Cina Village. In addition, an evaluation is carried out to assess the effectiveness of conservation area management using a reporting application every month, quarter and semester related to development progress and updating current conditions related to achieving targets from the planning that has been made.
