Strategi Komunikasi Dalam Mengoptimalisasi Kinerja Karyawan Department People Development Pt. Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk Branch Pekanbaru
This research is motivated by the success of the People Development Department at the Pekanbaru Branch in receiving the "Best PnD" award, directly conferred by the Head Office in Jakarta. This award serves as evidence of the improved performance of the People Development Department at the Pekanbaru Branch. It is considered prestigious, as the award is granted through an evaluation process of departmental performance, with the Pekanbaru branch outperforming all other branches of PT. Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk across Indonesia. This improvement in employee performance is supported by the implementation of optimal communication strategies within the People Development Department at the Pekanbaru Branch. The purpose of this study is to analyze the communication strategies employed by the department in optimizing or maintaining employee performance. The communication strategies involve the role of the communicator, the communicant, the message, and the response in enhancing employee performance at the People Development Department of PT. Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk, Branch Pekanbaru
The research problem a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. The data collected in this research is divided into two categories: primary data, consisting of interviews and observations, and secondary data, including documentation, archives, and an overview of the research location obtained from PT. Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk, Pekanbaru Branch. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations, and documentation. The study involves five informants who meet the criteria deemed appropriate to provide the necessary data for the research. Data analysis employs the model developed by Miles and Huberman, while data validity is ensured through triangulation techniques. Furthermore, the study uses a strategic communication model.
The result indicate of this study indicate that the communication strategies employed by the People Development Department of PT. Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk, Pekanbaru Branch, have been quite successful in optimizing employee performance. The communication between communicators and communicants is well-established, leading to increased employee motivation. This is evident from the improved performance demonstrated by each employee at PT. Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk, Pekanbaru Branch.
