Hulu Kuantan District is one of the districts in Kuantan Singingi Regency, precisely located in the southwest. This district has the potential to have a diversity of medicinal plants. This study aims to inventory traditional medicinal plants in Hulu Kuantan District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. The benefits of this study are expected to be a source of information about medicinal plants in Hulu Kuantan District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. This study is a qualitative study with a survey method. The selection of respondents as research samples used the snowball sampling technique, namely with 1 main informant (key person) and 6 respondents. Data collection techniques through interviews, field observations, documentation and identification of medicinal plants. Data analysis uses qualitative methods presented in the form of tables and diagrams. The results of this study indicate that plant diversity in Hulu Kuantan District is relatively high, marked by the presence of various types of wild and cultivated medicinal plants. Based on research that has been conducted in Hulu Kuantan District, it can be concluded that the medicinal plants found were 60 species and 37 families. The most commonly found family is the Zingiberaceae family with 5 types. The most utilization of medicinal plants is in the leaves, with the most processing method being boiled and the way to use medicinal plants is to drink them. The types of diseases treated are quite varied from fever, allergies and minor injuries to chronic internal diseases.
