Optimasi Jalan Pahat Proses Pemesinan Cnc Milling Dan Analisis Biaya Produksi Pembuatan Adaptor Disc Brake Berbasis Cam Menggunakan Metode Taguchi
ABSTRACT
Adaptor disc brake or wheel spacers are important vehicle components that function to increase stability, handling and safety. Making adapters requires careful planning, especially in choosing manufacturing methods such as CNC Milling with the help of CAD/CAM technology. Previous research shows the use of Mastercam produces products with tight tolerances and measurable production times, but there is still opportunity to optimize machining times. This research focuses on tool path optimization and production cost analysis of disc brake adapters using the Taguchi and Mastercam X5 methods to increase efficiency and product quality. Facing process simulation (Dynamic) with spindle speed parameter values of 1,529 rpm, feed rate 1,631 mm/min, and depth of cut 0.14 mm. Simulation of the contour 1 process with spindle speed parameter values of 8,121 rpm, feed rate 3,248 mm/min, depth of cut 1.4 mm. Contour 2 process simulation with speed parameter values of 8,121 rpm, feed rate 3,248 mm/min, depth of cut 1.4 mm. Pocket 1 (Zig-zag) process simulation with spindle speed parameter values of 8,121 rpm, feed rate 3,248 mm/min, depth of cut 0.8 mm. Simulation of the drilling process (Chip break) with spindle speed parameter values of 1,910 rpm and feed rate of 783 mm/min. Pocket 2 (Zig-zag) process simulation with spindle speed parameter values of 7,961 rpm, feed rate 3,248 mm/min, and depth of cut 0.8 mm. Simulation of the pocket 3 (Zig-zag) process with spindle speed parameter values of 7,961 rpm, feed rate 3,248 mm/min, and depth of cut 0.8 mm. Based on the simulation results, the production time for disc brake adapters is 54.6655 minutes, with a total manufacturing cost of Rp. 273,025 per product..
