Tingkat Partisipasi Angkatan Kerja Perempuan Pada Sektor Ekonomi Unggulan Di Kota Pekanbaru Dan Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir Tahun 2018-2022

ABSTRACT
This research aims to see the level of participation of the female labor force in the leading economic sectors in Pekanbaru City and Indragiri Hilir Regency, the tendency of the economic transformation process, and the impact of economic transformation in Pekanbaru City and Indragiri Hilir Regency on the participation of the female labor force in 2018-2022. The data used in this research is secondary data which is time series in the form of female labor force in Pekanbaru City and Indragiri Hilir Regency in 2018-2022. The method in this study uses descriptive analysis, which is a systematic and accurate depiction of data based on data and information that has been collected, so that it is easier to understand and interpret. The results of this study indicate that 1) The leading economic sector and the highest TPAK of women in Pekanbaru City are in the secondary sector, namely the wholesale and retail trade sector, repair and maintenance of cars and motorbikes, while the leading economic sector and the highest TPAK of women in Indragiri Hilir Regency are in the primary sector, namely the agriculture, forestry and fisheries sector, 2) The economic structure and TPAK of women in Pekanbaru City fluctuate with the secondary sector having the highest percentage value followed by the tertiary and secondary sectors, while the economic structure and TPAK of women in Indragiri Hilir Regency are dominated by the primary sector, followed by the secondary and tertiary sectors, 3) The economic impact of transformation is a significant increase in economic growth but also creates direct benefits for local communities through job creation and increased income.
