Analisis Reliability Dan Failure Mode Pompa Sliding Vane Di Pt. Wilmar Nabati Indonesia Unit Bulking Terminal Dumai-Pelintung
ABSTRACT
The Sliding Vane pump plays a critical role in transferring crude oil from temporary storage to the storage tank. Any malfunction in the Sliding Vane pump can disrupt the production process of cooking oil in the factory. This study aims to analyze and design a maintenance schedule for Sliding Vane pumps at PT. Wilmar Nabati Indonesia, Bulking Terminal Unit Dumai-Pelintung, to improve reliability using the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) methods. Based on the analysis, the critical components of the Sliding Vane pump are the Vane and Liner, with Risk Priority Numbers (RPN) of 120,960 and 80,640, respectively. To enhance reliability, optimal maintenance intervals were determined using RCM methodology, with a recommendation for scheduled discard tasks. Maintenance schedules were developed for seven (7) units of Sliding Vane pumps, with intervals ranging from
