Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Phenomenon Based Learning Untuk Meningkatkan Pemahaman Konsep Peserta Didik Pada Materi Termokimia Di Kelas Xi Mipa Sma Negeri 15 Pekanbaru
This research is a Quasi Experiment research with Nonequivalent Control Group Pretest-Posttest design that aims to determine whether there is an increase in students' concept understanding in thermochemical material in class XI MIPA SMAN 15 Pekanbaru and its improvement category. The sample of this study consisted of two classes, namely class XI MIPA D as an experimental class that received the phenomenon-based learning model treatment and class XI MIPA E that did not receive treatment. Data testing of research results is reviewed from four aspects of testing, namely normality test, homogeneity test, hypothesis test and N-gain test. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, the value of tcount> ttable is 3.016> 1.667 with a high category (0.71). Thus, the phenomenon-based learning model is proven to be able to improve students' concept understanding in thermochemical material in class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 15 Pekanbaru.
