Pengembangan Generator Set Untuk Kebutuhan Listrik Pedagang Kaki Lima Menggunakan Metode Quality Function Deployment (Qfd)
ABSTRACT
The development of a generator set for the electricity needs of street vendors is an effort to provide solutions to limited electricity access in certain locations. Street vendors often face challenges in providing sufficient electrical power for lighting and operating electronic devices. This study aims to design a generator set based on free energy that is efficient, reliable, and environmentally friendly using the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method. Through the House of Quality (HoQ) analysis, this research identifies prioritized customer needs, such as durability, portability, affordability, and ease of maintenance. The study results indicate that the QFD method effectively produces a generator set design that meets user requirements, improves energy efficiency, and is easy to operate. This development positively contributes to small and micro businesses (SMEs), particularly street vendors, by providing practical solutions to electricity challenges in the field, thereby enhancing productivity and reducing operational costs.
