Pengaruh Suplai Tegangan Kurang Terhadap Kinerja Motor Induksi 3 Fasa Di Laboratorium Konversi Energi Listrik Universitas Riau
ABSTRACT
An undervoltage supply below the nominal value can significantly affect the performance of a 3-phase induction motor, especially under load conditions. This study aims to analyze the effect of an undervoltage supply on a 3-phase induction motor in the Electrical Energy Conversion Laboratory at Universitas Riau. The experiment was conducted with voltage variations of 380 V, 360 V, 340 V, 320 V, and 300 V, measuring parameters such as input current, rotor speed, input power, output power, efficiency, torque, and power factor. The results show that a decrease in supply voltage causes an increase in input current. Rotor speed decreases, indicating an increase in slip. Input power experiences a slight increase, while output power undergoes a slight decrease. Motor efficiency also declines, and the power factor increases. This study provides insights into the effects of undervoltage supply on a 3-phase induction motor under load conditions, serving as a reference for motor performance analysis in electrical power systems.
