Pengaruh Kompetensi Terhadap Kinerja Dengan Motivasi Sebagai Variabel Intervening Pada Pelaku Umkm Sektor Jasa Di Kota Dumai

ABSTRACT
This research aims to determine 1) the influence of competence on the
performance of MSME actors in the service sector in Dumai City, 2) the influence
of competence on the motivation of MSME actors in the service sector in Dumai
City, 3) the influence of motivation on the performance of MSME actors in service
sector in Dumai City, 4) the influence of competence on performance with
motivation as an intervening variable of MSME in the service sector in Dumai City.
This research uses a quantitative approach. This research uses data obtained from
distributing questionnaires to 83 respondents. The sampling method uses a
saturated sampling technique. This research uses the statistical analysisis tool IBM
SPSS version 25. The results of this research show that 1) competence has a
significant effect on the performance of service sector MSME in Dumai City, 2)
competence has a significant effect on the motivation of service sector MSME in
Dumai City, 3) motivation has an influence significant impact on the performance
of service sector MSME actors in Dumai City, 4) Competence has a significant
effect on performance through motivation as an intervening variable for service
sector MSME actors in Dumai City.
