Supervision of the distribution of General Election logistics is carried out based on Bawaslu Regulation Number 12 of 2023 concerning Supervision of the Procurement and Distribution of Voting Equipment, Other Equipment Support, and Other Voting Equipment in the General Election. The District Election Supervisory Committee in Law number 7 of 2017 concerning General Elections is tasked with supervising the implementation of General Elections at the District level. This study aims to describe the supervisory function by Panwascam Marpoyan Damai in distributing logistics for the 2024 General Election. This research is a research that uses qualitative methods that are presented descriptively based on secondary and primary data that uses data collection techniques through interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawn. This research is based on the supervision theory put forward by T. Hani Handoko. The theory explains that supervisory indicators consist of integration, objective, accurate, timely, and flexible.
The results of this study show that the Implementation of the Supervisory Function by Panwascam in the Distribution of General Election Logistics in Marpoyan Damai District, Pekanbaru City in 2024 has not run optimally with the discovery of several phenomena such as the occurrence of residual ballot fires at TPS 70 Tangkerang Tengah Village and the leakage of logistics storage warehouses, as well as the lack of weak supervision carried out due to external and internal factors. Several factors that hinder the implementation of supervision cause the Implementation of the Supervision Function by Panwascam in the Distribution of General Election Logistics in Marpoyan Damai District, Pekanbaru City in 2024 is not optimal..
