Analisis tentang bernalar kritis setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran project based learning siswa kelas x di sman 3 dumai
This research is motivated by the phenomenon of the lack of knowledge of
students to know, recognize, and understand the phenomenon of wise democratic
culture learning in schools due to the lack of knowledge in democratic culture.
Learners have not been able to prove democratic behavior in the learning system
(intracurricular), for example, they are not capable of expressing opinions, and
students have a homogeneous nature, meaning that the classroom is filled with
students with more or less the same ability or not much different so that students
are not interested in learning because there is no motivation to learn among
friends, the lack of activeness of students in reasoning. Students tend to be lazy to
follow the teaching and learning process, as well as the teaching and learning
process which is fairly stagnant, making students easily bored and the lack of
enthusiasm of students in the learning process because there are not many student
activities in the classroom, therefore a more interesting and active learning model
is needed to foster critical thinking. Therefore, the researcher is interested in
taking the theme of the democratic voice project as the reason for the researcher to
find out the Analysis of Critical Reasoning After Using the Project Based
Learning Model for Class X Students at SMAN 3 Dumai.
The problem formulation of this research is How is the Level of Critical
Reasoning After Using the Project Based Learning Model of Class X Students at
SMAN 3 Dumai. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of critical
reasoning after using the Project Based Learning Model for Class X Students at
SMAN 3 Dumai. The benefits of this research can be input and encourage
students to be able to learn Critical Reasoning after using the Project Based
Learning model, especially on the theme of Voice of Democracy at school
properly, it is hoped that it can add references to experience, insight, science and
reading material to study Critical Reasoning after using the Project Based
Learning model, especially on the theme of Voice of Democracy to be able to
develop results in previous studies.
This research method is descriptive quantitative and produces statistical
data. The research data collection instrument is using observation, interviews,
questionnaires, and documentation studies consisting of 5 indicators with 43
statements. The population of this study were all class X students at SMAN 3
Dumai class of 2024/2025 which amounted to 139 people and the determination
of the sample size was determined based on the Issac and Michael table with an
error rate of 5% so that the sample size was 106 people.
Based on the results of the research obtained about the Analysis of Critical
Reasoning After Using the Project Based Learning Model of Class X Students at
SMAN 3 Dumai is in the “High” category. This is evidenced by the average value
of the alternative answers of the dominant respondents, namely 74% where the
range is in the “High” category with the existence of a range of 61% - 80%. It can
be concluded that the Analysis of Critical Reasoning After Using the Project
Based Learning Model of Class X Students at SMAN 3 Dumai is at the “High”
level.
