Wacana Cawe Cawe Iriana Dalam Pencalonan Gibran Sebagai Wakil Presiden Periode 2024-2029 : (Analisis Wacana Kritis Pada Youtube Tempodotco Podcast Bocor Alus Politik Episode Ambisi Dan Manuver Ibu Suri)

The news of President Joko Widodo's eldest son Gibran Rakabuming Raka's candidacy as Prabowo Subianto's vice presidential candidate in the 2024 presidential and vice presidential elections has become a political phenomenon highlighted by various circles in Indonesia and even the world. One of the media that also discussed the election was Tempo. In this regard, this study aims to analyze the discourse of Iriana's cawe cawe on Gibran's candidacy as vice president for 2024-2029 in the YouTube podcast Bocor Alus Politik Tempo Episode Ambition and Amnuver Ibu Suri.

This study uses a qualitative research method with Van Dijk's critical discourse analysis technique in three analyses, namely text, cognition and context. The data analysis unit in this study is five subtopics in the youtube video of the leaked podcast of politics related to the discourse of Cawe Cawe Iriana. The data collection techniques used are documentation and literature studies.

The results of the research found at the macro structure text level (thematic) found subtopics that build cawe cawe discourse or maneuvers by Iriana, schematic level in the title using bombastic titles and schemes built in accordance with Iriana's cawe cawe discourse, micro text level (semantic, syntactic, stylistic, rhetorical) found word selection and figures of speech that show the critical attitude of Tempo journalists towards the cawe cawe discourse which leads to dynastic politics. Then at the level of social cognition, it was found that Tempo journalists represented Iriana as the figure of the First Lady or the President's wife, seeing Iriana's position or role directed journalists to see Iriana's cawe cawe as an act of misappropriation. At the level of social context, cawe cawe discourse is a discourse that opposes the status quo of government. On the other hand, the news provided by Tempo is a reference for the public to get balanced news.
