Researcher: Cristinawati Br Pakpahan Nim 2105113344 Title: Sexual Behavior of Junior High School Dropouts in Palas Village, Pekanbaru City Keywords: Sexual Behavior, Junior High School Dropouts The formulation of the problem in this study is How is the Sexual Behavior of Junior High School Dropouts in Palas Village, Pekanbaru City?. This study aims to determine and describe the Sexual Behavior of Junior High School Dropouts in Palas Village, Pekanbaru City. This study has 8 research indicators, namely 1) Feelings of attraction to the opposite sex and the same sex, 2) Masturbation, 3) Hugging, 4) Kissing cheeks/lips, 5) Having sex, 6) Influence of social media, 7) Peer factors, 8) Economic factors. After this research is conducted, it is expected to provide benefits. The benefits of this research are divided into two, namely theoretical benefits and practical benefits. The theoretical benefits of the results of this study are expected to provide input for the world of education or economics and science in general in the field of education, and universities in particular regarding the sexual behavior of junior high school dropouts. And the practical benefits of the results of this study are expected to be useful for the government, society, parents and further researchers. This research is a type of qualitative research with qualitative descriptive methods and qualitative natural observation methods. This research was conducted in Palas Village, Pekanbaru City involving 2 core informants and 6 supporting informants as research subjects.Data collection techniques in this study are document techniques (20%), observation (60%), and interviews (20%). While the analysis in the study includes data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions and triangulation. Based on data analysis and discussion, this study can be concluded that sexual behavior of junior high school dropouts in Palas Village, Pekanbaru City is proven to exist and is a fact carried out by teenagers. Sexual behavior is carried out due to internal factors (from within oneself) such as kissing, hugging, masturbating and having sex. While external factors (from outside oneself) such as environmental and peer influences, social media influences and economic factors. So they engage in sexual behavior during their teenage years so that they drop out of school and do not continue their education.
