This study aims to determine 1) how high the social environment of adolescents in Pulau Panjang Village, Cerenti District, Kuantan Singingi Regency, 2) how high the consumer behavior of adolescents in Pulau Panjang Village, Cerenti District, Kuantan Singingi Regency, 3) whether there is an Influence of the Social Environment on the Consumer Behavior of Adolescents in Pulau Panjang Village, Cerenti District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. This type of research is ex-post facto with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were 156 high school graduates aged 18-22 years old. In sampling using the Simple Random Sampling technique, sampling with this method was because the respondent population was considered homogeneous, namely high school graduates, with a 10% error rate using the Slovin Formula. So the sample became 61 teenagers. The data collection methods of this study are 1) documentation, 2) observation and 3) questionnaire. The research instrument consists of two questionnaires, namely, the social environment questionnaire and consumer behavior 1) reviewing all theories related to the variables to be studied, 2) compiling indicators of each variable, 3) compiling grids, 4) compiling statement items and determining the measurement scale, 5) instrument trials, 6) analysis of question items by testing the validity and reliability of each statement item. Based on the analysis of demographic factors of respondents, the variable of social environment of adolescents in Pulau Panjang Village, Cerenti District, Kuantan Singingi
Regency with a mean value of 4.33 and the variable of consumer behavior with a mean value of 4.31 is determined by demographic factors of gender, age, and origin of school graduates. consumer behavior variable. The results of this study obtained a high or low level of the Social Environment of Adolescents in Pulau Panjang Village, Cerenti District, Kuantan Regency. There is a significant positive influence between the Influence of the Social Environment on the Consumptive Behavior of Adolescents in Pulau Panjang Village, Cerenti District, Kuantan Singingi Regency, which will be even higher by 88.2% while the remaining 11.8% is influenced by other factors.
