Status Pemanfaatan Sumber Daya Ikan Motan (Thynnichthys Thynnoides) Di Desa Tambak Kecamatan Langgam Kabupaten Pelalawan
The status of fish utilization that is carried out in excess can threaten its sustainability because it threatens the ability to recover fish resources towards extinction. One of the potentials in the fisheries sector is the potential of fisheries in inland waters such as Oxbow Lake. Danau Panjang Hulu and Danau Panjang Hilir are oxbow lakes of the Kampar River that receive fish, including Cyprinidae during the flood season. Regulations governing the utilization of fisheries resources, especially in the Kampar River, are still minimal so that the utilization of fisheries resources is increasingly uncontrolled. In this study, to determine the utilization status of motan fish that have been carried out in Tambak Village from October to December 2022. Sampling was done every 3 times down in 3 months using gill nets (mesh 1.5-2 cm). Parameters measured were length, weight, and maturity level of fish gonads. Data were analyzed using Microsoft Excel, FISAT II and Length-Based Spawning Potential Ratio (LB-SPR) programs. The results showed that the value of the fish length-weight relationship was 2.0558 (negative allometric). The results of FISAT II analysis showed that the value of Von Bertalanffy growth was L∞ = 224.8 mm (asymptotic length), K = 1.51/year, t0 = 0.112/year, mortality rate (Z) = 5.38/year, natural mortality (M) = 2.58/year, fishing mortality (F) = 2.80/year, and exploitation rate (E) = 0.52/year. While the results of the LB-SPR program on female motan fish (Thynnichthys thynnoides) show a utilization status of 20% and can be categorized as overfished.
