Efektivitas Pengelolaan Sampah Pasar Tradisional Berbasis Modern Di Kuantan Singingi
Waste management is an important aspect in efforts to maintain a clean and healthy living environment in Kuantan Singingi, the Environmental Service is responsible for waste management. Waste and its management is still a major problem in environmental, health, social and cultural aspects which has not yet been resolved. This research is motivated by various waste problems that exist in modern Kuantan Singing-based traditional markets, including the lack of public awareness of waste, and the large amount of rubbish strewn around the TPS because the existing TPS does not have enough waste storage, and also ineffective waste transportation operations that do not comply with the SOP This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of waste management in traditional markets based on modern Kuantan singing. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive analysis approach. Data was collected through interviews, observation and documentation with DLH officers and traders in the market. This research uses the Effectiveness theory according to Duncan in (Yoga, 2019)with three indicators, namely: Goal Achievement, Integration and Adaptation. Based on the research results, it was concluded that the effectiveness of waste management in modern-based traditional markets has not been running optimally. The inhibiting factors in the effectiveness of waste management in modern-based traditional markets include: Operational hours for waste transportation are not in accordance with SOP, Lack of facilities and infrastructure in waste management activities, Unorganized division of labor in waste management activities.
