Pelaksanaan Corporate Social Responsibility (Csr) Oleh Pt. Bangun Tenera Riau Di Bidang Pendidikan Terhadap Masyarakat Desa Pantai Raja

ABSTRACT
The implementation of corporate social responsibility (CSR) is an obligation that must be carried out by companies in carrying out their corporate activities. This is explicitly regulated in Article 74 of Law Number 40 of 2007 concerning Limited Liability Companies and reaffirmed in Riau Province Regional Regulation Number 6 of 2012 concerning Corporate Social Responsibility in Riau Province. PT. Bangun Tenera Riau is an industrial company located in Pantai Raja Village, Perhentian Raja District, Kampar Regency and is engaged in processing palm oil into palm oil (CPO). As a company, PT. Bangun Tenera Riau has implemented CSR programs, especially in the field of education through schools in Pantai Raja Village. However, legal issues that arise are related to efforts and obstacles in the implementation of CSR, where the essence is not only on the existence of the program, but on its sustainability and impact in the long term, especially in improving the quality of education of the Pantai Raja Village community. Therefore, this research aims to oversee the implementation of CSR in the field of education by PT. Bangun Tenera Riau and to find out the obstacles it faces in the implementation of CSR in this field of education.
This type of research is a sociological legal research, with the research location at the office of PT. Bangun Tenera Riau and in Pantai Raja Village. The population and sample in this study are all parties related to the problem under study. This research uses data sources in the form of primary data, secondary data, and tertiary data. Data collection techniques are carried out by means of interviews and literature review.
From the results of the research, there are two main things that can be concluded. First, the implementation of CSR of PT. Bangun Tenera Riau in the field of education for the people of Pantai Raja Village has not been implemented optimally. This can be seen from several CSR programs in the education sector that have not been implemented or have been implemented but have not been resumed. In addition, the implementation of CSR in the field of education by PT. Bangun Tenera Riau is still limited to the program implementation stage only or at the participation level. Second, the obstacles faced by PT. Bangun Tenera Riau in implementing CSR in the field of education for the people of Pantai Raja Village includes the existence of the Covid-19 pandemic which caused a decrease in revenue, forcing the company to make budget adjustments, including the allocation of funds for CSR programs. Then, the lack of effective communication between all stakeholders regarding the target objects of CSR implementation causes inconsistency between the CSR programs that are implemented.
