Studi Kerapatan Dan Kandungan Protein Pada Tumbuhan Riparian Kelakai (Stenochlaena Palustris) Di Danau Lubuk Siam Kecamatan Siak Hulu Provinsi Riau

This research aims to determine the density and protein content of riparian Kelakai plants in the Lubuk Siam Lake, Siak Hulu District, Riau Province. This research was carried out in September-October 2024, located in Lubuk Siam Lake, Siak Hulu District. This research uses a survey method, by calculating density using quadrat plots. Meanwhile, protein levels were calculated using the AOAC method (2005). The results of this research showed that the highest density was at Station III, namely 29.6 species/m², while the lowest density was at Station II, namely 20 species/m². The protein content indicated that Kelakai has a protein content of 9.4525%. The Kelakai plant in Lubuk Siam Lake has a high density value and has the potential to be used as fish feed.
