The development of the Lumban Bul Bul Beach tourist attraction does not only depend on the natural beauty and existing infrastructure, but also on the perception and support of the community. Communities have an important role in preserving nature and culture, as well as being hosts for visiting tourists. This study aims to determine the existing conditions and public perceptions of the development of the Lumban Bul Bul Beach tourist attraction in Balige District. The method used in this study is descriptive analysis with a quantitative approach with 30 respondents. The types of data collected include primary and secondary data, this data is obtained from the results of interviews using questionnaires and literature. The results of the analysis show that the existing conditions of Lumban Bul Bul Beach can be concluded as diverse tourism activities, limited transportation, minimal accommodation, minimal service facilities and inadequate infrastructure. The perception of the Lumban Bul Bul village community calculated using a Likert scale obtained a score of 2,967 based on the Likert scale score criteria, so it received a good assessment. and the value of each indicator, namely for the tourism activity indicator with a score of 700 with a very good category, for the transportation indicator with a score of 510 with a good category or the accommodation indicator with a score of 578 in the good category, for the service facility indicator with a score of 613 in the good category, and finally for the infrastructure indicator with a score of 566 in the good category
